First step - Lay out the stakes

Recently we met "Gary the Builder" to determine the location of our new home on our property. We had to assure that we met all the setback restrictions.

We decided to center the house left-to-right and have the house close to the front setback, placing the house in the front half of the property.

Wayne and Gary are assuring a proper alignment, and Robin is helping to locate the height of the first floor off the ground. The nicely level lot will give us slight sloping away from the house, and make it easy for all those lawn mowing days.

Robin and I anticipate ground breaking in the first week of March 2009.

When that occurs we will transition from Lot #33 to 103 Meadow View Lane.
